POSH!!!
I have found a product that does not bug my head!! POSH PRODUCTS smell wonderful and they aren't killing my head. I love everyone that I have ordered and I haven't had any issues with my migraines. Now I know that not everyone will agree but I am so happy to have something that won't give me a migraine after one or more uses. One of the products I can put under my nose when I go out in public that helps keeps the smells down from crowds. I just love it.

Not even a week yet
We haven't been home a week yet and all I have had to use of my DHE is 2 injections. It is nice. When we went on a family trip to a local mall I was able to go into stores that I have had issues with in the past. I was able to smell candles & lotion with no real issue. It was nice. The heat however is still getting me. I'm sure that will never really change. But so far I am happy.
Day 5 DHE injections (Sorry its late)
Well day 5 went slow for me. We were having issues with one of our dogs on Thursday/Friday so I wanted not to be there. I got my medication and had therapy. All we did in therapy is talk about ways to help our toddler with her migraines. I'm going to be honest even though I wasn't what we all thought it would be it has been helpful. I am hoping they make some adjustments to the program but it helps. I know I'm not even a week out but I've been able to do stuff that I haven't been able to do in years which was nice. I'm not saying I am cured but I am saying I am able to live my life now. Oh and I made some friends along the way. :-)

Day 4 Almost there...
Finally we have reached day 4!! Only a half of day left. Today I walked in with NO MIGRAINE!! One of the other women walked in just like me. She didn't wake up at 3 with one either which is great. Our 3 member had just a little one. She's had more problems then the other and I.
It started like the other days. I'd talk to my doctor & get my medications. My hips are killing me 3 days of injections is a lot on my body. I got to go back to the hotel room early which was nice I guess. I did my homework then went back for my therapy. I'm pretty sure the therapist is done with me. But I'll know more tomorrow.
After group we went back to our little group meeting room. The nurse came in and started on one of our medications. She took me to the other room for my injections. And I was sent home. I did get a nasty migraine after I left but I was able to rest and it went away by dinner time. I'll just have to let them know tomorrow. I can't wait until tomorrow cause it's a half day & I get to go home to our big black lab who has been having seizure all day. She's had 5 so far so my mind is with her in Clinton not here.

What day is it?? Hump day (Day 3)
What day is it?? Hump day...or as we ladies like to say day 3 of a very long week. So the other patients and I have bonded. I'm pretty sure that I will have a few new Facebook friends soon. As upset as we are about what we thought our therapy is at least we have each other.
Today I woke up and I wasn't in pain!! I loved it. I didn't even realize it was raining until my hubby came in and asked me how I was doing. I said I'm fine. Why do you ask? That's when he told me. I was soooo happy not to drive with a migraine. I didn't even get any twitch of a migraine when I was stressed about my tire being low and thinking I was going to be late.
Today like yesterday they tried to find a vein which they did not get. I once again got the shots. After that I went to therapy and talked about the miscarriage I had a few years ago. I am starting to think that the bio feedback is what is draining me after every session. I came back to the hotel and tried to rest. That didn't happen. Our toddler and dog made sure of that.
One of the other patients and I were told that they are going to switch up our medication. We are both getting DHE injections when we get a migraine. I will have to take Zofran before I give myself my DHE injection. My hubby and I were taught how to give myself the injections. I caught on pretty quick. :-) Only 2 more days and we get to go home.

Day 2 DHE Treatment
Well today was suppose to be like yesterday. But my veins however didn't agree. I was poked 5 times before they decided to give my medication to me in the shot form. I must say I wasn't as tired as I was with the IV meds. We (all 3 of us) are not too happy with some of the content of the program. We are happy that we are getting help but we all thought that we would be seeing a dietitian and a physical therapist to help us. My husband isn't very happy about the fact that we also thought that in group he would be able to learn how to help me better. The only real upside of today was I got my medication quickly and was able to get back to the hotel to nap with Erin before we had to head back for group.
I walked in with a 5 and by the time we walked out today I was down to a 1 and have stayed that way since. We were able to go to a store with heavy candle scents, loud noises, screaming children, and woman with a lot of perfume on and I have not had any reaction. We were also able to go to the pool at the hotel with no problems also. I'm very happy about that. Maybe tomorrow I can test out the hotel gym. :-) One day at a time.

Day 1 DHE Treatment
Well today was a long day. I walked into the clinic with a 5 for a migraine. I had to fill out a few things before I went back. The nurses and the doctors where really nice. I had to get stuck 3 times before they got the IV in. They push anti-nausea medication first, followed by the DHE, and finished up by a magnesium drip. Just like I thought the DHE started making me feel weird. I felt like the world was spinning faster then it was. The magnesium helped calm down the spinning.
After the medication push I talked to the therapist & enjoyed that. We broke for lunch at noon. Once we were back we had our group session. I found out that I have been suffering from migraines longer then the other 2 woman. My husband was there with me which was very nice.
Before we got to leave for the day we had our second treatment. I took the anti-nausea meds like a champ. But once my DHE was on board my dizziness got a lot worse. We sat there until it subsided. Tomorrow I am going to have them change my IV cause my arm is hurting like hell. I did walk out with a 2 for a migraine but I came back to the hotel and took a nap.
I got asked a question before our group session was over. Well the whole group was. We were asked what are you going to do once you walk out of the clinic on Friday Chronic Migraine Free. This clinic isn't promising a cure but they want to break the chronic cycle so we can live semi-normal lives. So here's my question to all of you.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WALKED OUT CHRONIC MIGRAINE FREE??
